FAQs

  • When can i see the Lasershow?

You will be able to experience the Lasershow Spectacular, Stone Mountain's signature show and an Atlanta tradition, at night during the summer. This combination of lasers, special effects, and fireworks is truly an unforgettable display. The state-of-the-art graphics feature a myriad of stirring images from Georgia's past. And everything is projected on a massive outdoor screen, aka Stone Mountain.
  • How do I get to the top of Stone Mountain?

There are two ways up. You can take the Summit SkyRide, a high-speed cable car. Along the way, you'll encounter the Confederate Memorial Carving, which features the likenesses of Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. The other way to go is the one-mile hiking trail, which is open from dawn to dusk. Once at the top, you'll be treated to sweeping views of Atlanta.
